ABColombia is Recruiting an Advocacy and Communications Officer!
We are looking for a dynamic Advocacy and Communications Officer to be part of the ABColombia team alongside the Programme and Advocacy Manager (PAM). The team consists of two salaried positions and interns working for a period of between six and twelve months.
This is a dynamic post that will allow the advocacy officer to grow and develop their skills experience. Together with the PAM you will provide briefings to key advocacy targets such as MPs, FCDO officials and UK ministers. You will also actively network with other UK-based organisations and contribute to developing strategic partnerships and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to support specific advocacy objectives. Responsibilities will also include managing the ABColombia website and undertaking a range of administrative and organisational activities to support the work.
ABColombia is looking for a new non- Executive director for our Board
This is a voluntary position, with a commitment of 1-2 days a month. Main responsibilities will include overseeing and to assisting with fundraising activity.
ABColombia often recruits interns. In general, we request that applicants are able to read English and Spanish and can commit to working a minimum of 2 days per week for 6 or 12 months.
